WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD
Basic Doctrine

Our basic and fundamental doctrine follows what the apostles taught, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

We will continue to keep the Apostles doctrine and the gospel given to us, at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body.

WATER BAPTISM
This is your sub-headline

We follow the after the Apostles and the way they followed after what Jesus taught. They were the eyewitnesses after all and Jesus picked these men of strong constitutions for a reason.

The book of Acts in every instance where baptism was performed, the apostles baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

Immediately after explaining the plan of salvation in the 38th verse of acts in the 39th verse of the 2nd chapter of Acts, Peter said

“this promise is unto you and your children and to all them that are afar off.”

It is not for just a certain time period but rather a generation after generation promise. This means it is meant for you and me.

HOLY GHOST FILLED
Initially evidenced by speaking in tongues

On the day of pentecost God poured out his Spirit on his diciples for the first time in history. This started The Church in the book of Acts chapter 2.

In the book of Acts, the baptism of the Holy Ghost was always accompanied by speaking in tounges, and God is still performing this miracle today.

When the outpouring of God's Spirit happened on the Day of Pentecost, and the event was "noised abroad", Peter was asked "what meaneth this, and he anwered,

“This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:”

God is still searching for true worshippers today, that will worship Him in spirit and in truth!

ONENESS

We believe that there is only one God. We do not believe that there is a trinity. The word trinity is not even in the bible. The clarity in which the bible tells us about the oneness of God is undeniable. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He was, and is, and is to come. There can only be one Almighty. Here are just a few scriptures to consider.

Deuteronomy 6:4

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.

Isaiah 44:6

Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Revelations 4:2

And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne

JESUS IS GOD

There is a scripture in the bible that shows us exactly who Jesus is. He is more than just a good man, a prophet, or even a rebel who was trying to overthrow the Roman empire. No, Jesus was actually the one and only God in the the flesh. When the prophet Isaiah foretold of his coming in the 9th chapter and 6th verse of his book. It very clearly tells us everything that Jesus would be.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Among all of the accolades and definitions given here it plainly states that He is the mighty God. There are many other corroborating scriptures that point to this fact.

BIBLICAL EXPRESSIONS OF WORSHIP

–We pray together aloud because in the Bible we read, "They lifted up their voice to God with one accord".   (Acts 4:24).

–We lift our hands in praise because in the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord" (Psalm 134:2).

–We sing with all our hearts because in the Bible we read, "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth:  make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise" (Psalm 98:4).

–We play musical instruments because in the Bible we read, "And all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments" (2 Samuel 6:5).

–We clap and shout unto God because in the Bible we read, "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph" (Psalm 47:1).

–We dance before the LORD because in the Bible we read, "Praise Him with the timbrel and dance:  praise Him with stringed instruments and organs" (Psalm 150:4).

–We testify publicly because in the Bible we read, "I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee" (Psalm 22:22).

–We anoint with oil for divine healing because in the Bible we read, "Is any sick among you?  Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14).

–We allow the operation of the spiritual gifts because in the Bible we read, "When ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation" (1 Corinthians 14:26).
